During my first term as Auditor, I was entrusted to restore Cache County's internal audit function and bring back public confidence in County finances. I thank you for this opportunity, and I'm pleased to report that I have worked hard to reestablish transparency and accountability in the Cache County Finance Department.

With the help of Cache County's highly committed public servants and staff, I have cut wasteful spending, strengthened internal controls, improved oversight, and discovered and eliminated many unsound financial management practices. I can state with confidence that the finances of Cache County are now managed and expended with a greater degree of responsibility and accountability to you, the residents of our valley home. I am grateful for your support during this time, but the work continues, and there is much remaining to do.
